You might think this is weird, but I’ve been using a Commodore 64 computer a lot lately. Your response, depending on your age and how many friends you had in high school, is probably: a) “A what?” or b) “OMG! What a nerd!” or c) “OMG! That’s awesome!”
I’ll assume that you’re the kind of person whose response was something like “c.” Sorry about high school.
You recall the Commodore 64. It was what folks now call an “8-bit” computer, roughly the same generation as the Atari 2600 game system, which was a little older, and the original NES, which came out a few years later. It was the most popular home computer that had ever been produced. It seemed like about half of my friends had one, and even though I wasn’t the most popular kid, that’s still a lot of computers....
